Dear Quilting Friends:
Summer is officially here but for us it started in May when all of our winter friends left to go to their summer homes.
Friday's will be a time for all of our "locals" to get together for a free Sit & Sew. If you haven't heard, we are opening up the classroom 9-5 on Friday's for you to come in to use the big tables, ask a few questions of our great staff, get some sewing machine help or whatever you need. There is no charge for this time. Stop in when you can - stay as long as you like.
July's Strip Club is actually a repeat of a quilt we did 2 years ago. The pattern is Rising Star. The fabrics are the new Hoffman Christmas line in red, green & gold. The strip kit is a little more ($40) because of the price increases we have seen in all the fabrics. This is mostly ones with metallic in them.
August quilt will be Holiday Cheer. This is done with Moda's Peace on Earth Collection. Of course, as always, they can be used for any of the strip patterns.
We all know gas prices are hard on everyones budget. So there are two things we are doing to help take the "pinch" out of your sewing budget.
* Anytime you finish a bolt of fabric (even a small bolt) you will get $1.00 per yard off of the whole piece.
* Heartfelt "Bolt Buddies" - If you call ahead and pre-register a group of 6 or more we will give your group $1.00 per yard off ANY fabric - even sale fabric. you will receive $2.00 per yard off if you finish a bolt.
You must pre-register your group to get this discount. Get your group together, give us a call, split the gas cost, do lunch together and make it a road trip to the quilt shop.
Get together your group of Heartfelt "Bolt Buddies" and give us a call.
