Dear Quilting & Sewing Friends:
School has started and cool weather is on it's way, SOON we hope!
Our first 5 yd Mystery Quilt is coming up, Saturday, September 4. Look in your stash for that one great piece of fabric and bring it in for this class. This is our replacement for Strip Club and should be just as much if not more fun. I guess I need to order apple fritters!
In these uncertain times handmade gifts will probably be the most appreciated, With that in mind we have maintained our free workshops and free beginning quilting classes.
Eva will be teaching some Saturday Free Motion classes this fall. Learning to finish your projects is definitely something you will want to make time for.
The "back wall" is restocked with some great fabrics. We plan on continuing our "surprise" coupons in your email to help stretch your sewing budget.
September 18th is our Conkerr Cancer Miles of Smiles event. We will be sewing pillowcases all day. Remember that the Children's Hospital celebrate Halloween & Christmas so themed pillow cases are needed for these. Boys pillowcases are always in short supply.
If you have a stash of fabric that your just don't know what you were going to use it for please consider donating it for the Miles of Smiles Day. You can bring it to the store and it will be cut and made into pillowcase kits.
